A Day in Photos- Le Jardin d’Acclimatation (Paris)

Rowing in a canoe

Malina requested to visit the Jardin d’Acclimatation when she learned that we would be going to Paris two summers ago. We had read about this park in a book called “This is Paris” by Miroslav Sasek. I had never been inside this amusement park located in the larger Bois de Boulogne on the outskirts of the city in the 16th arrondissement (district). I do know the Bois de Boulogne well though from thoroughly exploring it in my early 20’s. The Bois de Boulogne is more than 2.5 times larger than New York’s Central Park and you could spend a few days exploring the park.

Here are some pictures from our day visiting le Jardin d’Acclimatation where Malina was searching for a ride that was in her book. On this particular ride kids can drive small cars on a track around a course. We did not find that ride this day, but found a lot of other fun things to do and see!
